There is never a perfect time to sell or buy a home, but one of the better times to do so is during the summer months. Why, you ask? A few reasons...

1. Often you're out of town on vacation or visiting family and friends during the summer, this makes extra use of those deep cleaning sessions by default, as your home is vacant and ready for showings for extended periods of time.

2. Another positive is often that the kiddos are out of school and this allows for smooth transitions to new schools at the beginning of a new school year. No one really wants to uproot their kids in the middle of the year, so summer is the perfect time for a move and a peaceful transition into a new school.

3. Whether you're ready to think about it or not, the holidays are fast approaching! Most people shy away from listing their homes or moving around the holidays. You know that old song "I'll Be Home for Christmas?" It's a classic for a reason. No one wants their life in flux during this time of year, especially if you have small children. So list or buy now so you can snuggle those babes in the beautiful glow of the Christmas tree come December.

Whether you're buying or selling, summer time is the perfect time to research your real estate options and I'm here to help. When I'm not hanging out with my kiddos, of course :) I hope you're all having a fantastic summer so far, enjoy this little peek into what we've been up to this summer.

This year I was privileged to work with Carl Christensen of C&C Custom Homes to customize this beautiful home in Arbor Springs. Building a custom home always has its challenges, but it was a creative and rewarding journey. We are so proud of the finished product and know that the new owners will love living in this beauty for years to come...

This home has the most beautiful bathrooms. Each one is customized with beautiful cabinetry and hardware.

The home is surrounded with beautiful landscaping as far as the eye can see.

This home features a full finished basement with polished concrete floors.
