This year I was privileged to work with Carl Christensen of C&C Custom Homes to customize this beautiful home in Arbor Springs. Building a custom home always has its challenges, but it was a creative and rewarding journey. We are so proud of the finished product and know that the new owners will love living in this beauty for years to come...

This home has the most beautiful bathrooms. Each one is customized with beautiful cabinetry and hardware.

The home is surrounded with beautiful landscaping as far as the eye can see.

This home features a full finished basement with polished concrete floors.

Hey y'all! Welcome to my first blog post!!! Let's kick this thing off with something fun and yummy:) I have been lucky enough to work with Whitley Farms over the last few months as they prepare to pass the baton to the next generation of farmers and sell their property. Recently I took the kiddos to the farm to pick fresh strawberries and we had so much fun. Of course we had even more fun eating them and making them into a delicious strawberry cobbler. Below you will find the recipe for an easy cobbler (that can be used for all kinds of fruits), head on out to Whitley Farms before the season is over and fill your buckets with fresh strawberries. Comment below and tell me how your cobbler turns out, I'm sure it will be delicious, just like ours!!!

1 c sugar

1 c self rising flour 1 c milk

1 stick butter (1/2 melted 1/2 cold cut for topping)

2 cups sliced fresh strawberries (more or less to your liking)

Mix flour, sugar and milk together until well blended, set aside. Pour melted butter into baking dish. Spread the strawberries evenly into the dish over butter. Pour flour, sugar, and milk mixture over the strawberries, do not stir. Cut up the remaining butter and place pieces on top of mixture. Bake at 350 for approximately 30-40 minutes. Voila! Top with fresh whipped cream if desired and enjoy!!!
